Tuesday 5 March 2019 The Tammie Norrie's Big Day Out

After two years, and having started from a pile of bits on the shed and living room floor and after much cursing, tantrums and joy the big day finally arrived.

Unfortunately I was unable to attend the launch, the farrier was due and as all horse owners know, one never puts one's farrier off side. The rest of the pics are courtesy of Jan.

Sadly, or maybe not, there was no breeze

On the far reach of the test run there was a zephyr of wind

And they were able to proceed under sail for a short while

Before returning to shore under oar power

The man and boat returned home triumphant. No bailing required and everything worked as it should. Only the boat trailer needing more work.
