We woke to a beautiful morning and we were unable to resist the lure of the lake. So, at 8.15 we picked up S&V at on the way through their place. The boats were soon unloaded and L had chosen to paddle 'Dani' today.
Once again, S&V were the first to take to the water, however they didn't have to wait long and we were paddling by 8.40
We made our way, at a very leisurely pace, up Little Cuttagee
Paddling up Cuttagee Lake beneath Lois'
We then circumnavigated Woolybutts Bay
Once back on the main lake we discovered a light breeze had sprung up, so we crossed the lake and went ashore for a 15minute 'nature break' and at 11.40 were paddling east with the breeze in our faces
Back at Snake Island L and I swapped boats and I had my first paddle in 'Dani'. Having a rudder took some getting used to and I weaved my way back down the channel. Little Cuttagee was sheltered from the breeze and the water was glassy
We reluctantly finished our paddle at 11.40
7.2km
3 hours
