Saturday 17/9 Skipton. Settle to Carlisle Railway

Got up to find it was a perfect day for our scenic railway journey

We started our journey at Skipton Railway Station

And a few pictures of our journey

Fantastic journey and a great day out.

At the end of our day out we returned to the boat the supermarket to stock up for our onward journey and most importantly to buy jam, butter and cream for Jean's scones tomorrow.

A light dinner was whipped up by Tim, with fridge remainders and Tim tut tutting about use by dates. And it was lovely.

An early start for us tomorrow.
