Friday 21 April 2017 Black Lagoon, Wallaga Lake

On Friday we returned to Wallaga Lake to explore Black Lagoon. S&V who missed the Nairia Creek paddle were keen starters, along with R.

For this paddle the tides were not in our favour, so only a short paddle up Nairia Creek was possible.

This time we circumnavigated the aptly named Black Lagoon before proceeding up the Creek. On our return we took yet another route, this one even more attractive than the last back to the main lake where the water was almost glassy in the late afternoon light.
