Friday 9 June 2017 Bermagui River

It was an early start for R, L and me this morning. We set off from the Bermagui Bridge boat ramp around 8.00am, about an hour before high tide.The day was overcast but the water was glassy and the tide assist was greatly appreciated.

We stopped for morning tea where the left had fork of the River Rd comes down to the river.

We lingered a little too long over morning tea and hadn't proceeded much further upriver when
the tide turned and we thought it prudent to turn around in case we got stranded further on.
A couple of hundred metres before we turned to head back down the river.

We finished around 12.30 after a lazy return paddle.
